Southeast Asia's Best-Kept Secret

Vietnam is Southeast Asia's most underrated destination for Indian travelers — and Indians now get 45 days visa-free. The country stretches 1,650km from north to south and packs extraordinary diversity: the ancient capital of Hanoi with its French colonial boulevards and the world's best street food, the mythical karst landscape of Ha Long Bay, and the perfectly preserved UNESCO trading town of Hoi An lit by hundreds of silk lanterns at night.

The overnight junk cruise on Ha Long Bay — kayaking through hidden lagoons between 2,000 limestone karsts rising from emerald water, swimming off karst beaches, and watching the scenery change colour as the sun moves — is one of Asia's three or four unmissable experiences. The train journey from Hanoi through the mountains to Da Nang is equally spectacular. And Hoi An is the most atmospheric town in Southeast Asia.

Vietnamese food is one of the world's great cuisines — Pho, Banh Mi, Bun Cha, and the extraordinary Hoi An specialties of Cao Lau noodles and White Rose dumplings. A Vietnamese cooking class in Hoi An is genuinely one of the best travel experiences available anywhere. Tripharbr covers the full north-to-central circuit and handles all the logistics that make Vietnam complex — domestic flights, Ha Long cruise bookings, and train reservations.

Top 6 Highlights of Vietnam

Every experience is included or arrangeable in your Tripharbr Vietnam package — no chasing vendors, no haggling

Ha Long Bay Overnight Cruise
2,000 limestone karsts rising from emerald water. Kayaking through hidden lagoons, cave exploration, swimming off karst beaches, and sunset cocktails on deck. One of Asia's greatest travel experiences.
Hoi An Ancient Town
A UNESCO-preserved 15th-century trading port lit by hundreds of silk lanterns every evening. The most atmospheric town in Southeast Asia. The cooking classes and tailor shops are world-famous.
Hanoi Old Quarter
The 36-street ancient capital, each street historically dedicated to a different trade. The best street food in Vietnam is here — Bun Cha at Bun Cha Huong Lien (where Obama ate with Anthony Bourdain) is essential.
Scenic Train Journey
The Hanoi to Da Nang route passes through mountain tunnels and bridges with views of paddy fields, coastline, and Hai Van Pass — some of the finest rail scenery in Asia.
My Son Sanctuary
Hindu temple ruins built by the Cham civilization between the 4th and 14th centuries. A remarkable UNESCO site set in a jungle valley surrounded by mountains near Hoi An.
Vietnamese Cooking Class
Learning to make Cao Lau, White Rose dumplings, and Banh Mi from scratch in a Hoi An riverside kitchen. The best souvenir any traveler can bring home from Vietnam.

What You Need to Know Before You Go

Visa for Indians
Indians get 45-day visa-free entry to Vietnam — a policy that came into effect in August 2023. No visa application needed on arrival.
Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your entry date.
Check the latest policy at the Vietnamese Embassy website before travel — we provide updated visa guidance with every booking.
Ha Long Bay — Choosing the Right Cruise
There are over 500 cruise operators on Ha Long Bay. Quality varies enormously from basic to extraordinary. We book only verified 3-star-plus operators with excellent safety records.
An overnight cruise is essential — day trips do not do justice to the landscape. Minimum 2 nights recommended if you can.
Consider Bai Tu Long Bay adjacent to Ha Long — equally beautiful, significantly fewer boats, more exclusive experience.
Street Food Safety
Vietnamese street food is generally very safe — follow the rule of hot, fresh, and busy. The busier the stall, the fresher the food.
Pho Bo (beef noodle soup) is safe even for cautious travelers as the broth is always boiled fresh.
Avoid tap water and ice from unknown sources. Only bottled water. Fruit shakes from reputable stalls are safe and excellent.
