6 Days Vietnam — Hanoi, Ha Long Bay & Hoi An

Arrive Noi Bai Airport, transfer to the hotel in Hanoi's atmospheric Old Quarter — 36 streets named after the goods sold there for centuries. Evening walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple on its islet, then dive into the street food scene: pho, bun cha, banh mi, and egg coffee.

Morning Hanoi sightseeing: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Stilt House, One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature — Vietnam's first university (1070 AD). Afternoon drive to Ha Long Bay (3.5 hours) and board your overnight cruise ship just before sunset.

Wake to sunrise over limestone towers. After breakfast on deck, kayak through hidden lagoons, explore Thien Cung cave with its dramatic stalactites, and swim in the emerald waters of a secluded bay. Post-lunch disembark and drive back to Hanoi for an evening flight to Da Nang.

Morning visit to the Marble Mountains — five limestone hills housing cave pagodas and war history. Drive north to Hue (1.5 hr) over Hai Van Pass with panoramic ocean views. Visit the Imperial Citadel of the Nguyen emperors, Thien Mu Pagoda on the Perfume River, and the royal tombs. Return to Da Nang by evening.

Drive 30 km south to Hoi An — the UNESCO-listed ancient trading port famous for its preserved 15th–19th century architecture and world-class tailors. Walk the covered Japanese Covered Bridge, browse silk tailors and lantern shops, take a Vietnamese cooking class in a garden home, and cruise the Thu Bon river at sunset with lanterns.

Final morning at My Khe Beach — one of Southeast Asia's most beautiful urban beaches. Return to the hotel for check-out, then transfer to Da Nang Airport for your flight home carrying lacquerware, silk, and lantern memories.
