6 Days Kerala Ayurveda Retreat

Arrive at Cochin airport and transfer to your Ayurveda heritage hotel. Meet your dedicated Ayurvedic doctor for an initial Prakriti (body type) assessment and consultation. The doctor designs a personalised treatment plan for your stay. The evening ends with a traditional Kerala Sadhya welcome dinner on a banana leaf.

Begin with a full-body Abhyanga (warm oil massage) session at the retreat. Then drive to Munnar, stopping at scenic tea estates for a gentle walk among the green hills. The evening features a guided sunset meditation session and a revitalising herbal steam bath to relax the muscles.

Start the day with sunrise yoga on a hilltop overlooking the misty tea valleys. The morning is dedicated to a full Panchakarma detox session followed by the deeply relaxing Shirodhara treatment — warm medicated oil poured gently onto the forehead to calm the mind. Rest in the afternoon before an Ayurvedic dinner.

Transfer to Alleppey and board your Ayurvedic houseboat — a floating wellness sanctuary on Kerala's famous backwaters. The afternoon brings the Pizhichil treatment (warm medicated oil bath poured over the body by two therapists), considered the king of Ayurvedic therapies. Watch the sunset over the backwaters.

Enjoy a nourishing Ayurvedic breakfast on the houseboat before disembarking for Kovalam beach. Check in to the spa resort and enjoy your final comprehensive full-body treatment session. The day concludes with a sunset yoga session on the beach as the Arabian Sea stretches before you.
